Fall Pics

We did a little family photoshoot, wanting to capture some fall colors.  The tripod didn't do a great job getting Ella to smile.  Looking forward to some professional ones soon.

Fun in the Sun!

In the middle of October, we took a brief vacation/work trip to Florida.  Ella and I tagged along while Matt had a conference in St. Petersburg and then we went to Clearwater Beach.  We had perfect weather the whole trip, and aside from Ella refusing to sleep in the hotels and me getting food poisoning, it was a great trip.

5 Month Pics

Well, Ella is less than a week away from turning 6 months old, and I just realized I never posted 5 month pics.  Here are a few of our cutie.

North Carolina

Ella took her first trip and we went to North Carolina to see Matt's family at the end of September.  She surprised her Grandma for her birthday.  

She was wiped by the end of the trip after being spoiled by Grandma and Papa and after meeting both sides of Matt's family.  We also went to the Apple Festival in Matt's hometown where she saw such things as Fried Apple Pie, cloggers, and pop guns.

Firsts

Ella had her first trip to the zoo.  She slept for a lot of it and didn't really seem to notice the animals.  But boy was she cute!

She had her first plane ride and did great!  She slept for a lot of it and didn't scream at all.  Of course, everyone around us thought she was too sweet.

Visitors

We had lots of visitors in September and boy did Ella love the attention.  Her Gram and Doc came first and spoiled her rotten.

Gram and Doc even played some Wii while they were here!

Grammy and a bunch of crazy ladies came next.  Ella sure loved her some Grammy time, as did I.

Ella decided to show off her foot sucking skills for the ladies.  This is one of her favorite pass times.

October?

Hello?  October?  Where have you gone?  I absolutely cannot believe it is almost November!  The last two months have flown by!  We had several visiting Hoosiers (no offense) in September and then went to North Carolina and Florida within a week of each other.  Life's been crazy!  But good.  Lots of blogging to come!
